Philanthropic Pursuits

Alan Azizollahoff has enjoyed great success in the gaming business, which he has been involved in for more than twenty-five years. Alan began in the business in 1985 when he joined the Peruvian Inversions San Juan, and from there he went to being one of the most knowledgeable and experienced individuals working in the gaming industry today. He has always been a person who believes in "giving back" and as such is a very warm-hearted and generous philanthropist who gives funds as well as his own time to causes that are important to him.

Tiferet Shlomo, which is an orphanage located in Jerusalem, Israel, is a favorite charity of Alan Azizollahoff. It serves as a home to neglected and homeless children who live in Israel, although they come from diverse backgrounds from every corner of the world. The children who live at Tiferet Shlomo are saved from a dangerous existence on the streets and are provided with food, shelter and vocational training so they can look forward to a brighter future.

Another Israel based endeavor that touches the hearts of both Alan Azizollahoff and his wife is a project that takes place in Pardes Hanah-Karkur, Israel. Through their support and that of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Ethiopian children are able to receive dance lessons. The children have immigrated to Israel and are faced with many challenges, but the through donations made by the Azizollahoff family and others, they gain self-confidence through dance, which helps them to succeed in every area of their new lives.

In addition, the Azizollahoff family donates to the organization, "Pilates for a Cure", which gives support to organizations that are working to find a cure for lupus and helps to support and provide essential services to those who are affected by lupus. They also support the US Lupus Foundation, which is the largest voluntary US health organization working towards a cure for lupus through research grants and clinical trials.

Alan Azizollahoff is a generous supporter of Mount Sinai Medical Center, established in 1949, is the largest non-profit hospital that gives outstanding health care to every type of citizen, regardless of their financial situation or ability to pay.

Located in South Florida, the center consists of research, academics and technology, all of which lead to comprehensive care in its neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, cardiology and orthopedics departments. Its heart unit, the Mount Sinai Heart Institute, is closely tied to Columbia University in New York and takes advantage of the strengths of both hospitals to provide excellent cardiovascular care using the most recent research findings and the newest technology and offers satellite centers that are located in the areas of increasing population.

Closer to home, Alan Azizollahoff supports the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center/Sanford L. Ziff Campus, which dedicates its services to enriching Jewish life in his own community. Helped by his generosity, it creates programs to encourage the emotional, physical and spiritual advancement of its members throughout all of life's circumstances. Other local organizations that are recipients of Alan Azizollahoff's unwavering support are the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Anti-Defamation League, the Willie & Celia Trump Synagogue and Hillel School.
